Speaker: Robert Powell Chapter/Verse: Review (Part Two)
The Epistle of Paul to the Galatians is a letter written to churches in Asia Minor in which the Apostle Paul combats false teachers who are undermining the crucial doctrine of justification by faith in Christ apart from works of the law. The Galatians have opened themselves up to this heresy of the necessity of circumcision and law keeping and are in danger of losing the truths of the gospel that were proclaimed to them at the establishing of their churches. Paul challenges them to reject these teachings and turn back from this dangerous road which can only lead to shipwreck of their faith and eternal destruction.
In this study, we take a detailed look, verse by verse, at this important epistle. It includes background material to help understand the historical setting and context, as well as a few topical studies along the way that will enable you to better understand some applicable Christian doctrines. May God bless your study as you strive to grow in the knowledge of Christ and the salvation that only comes by God’s gracious work through faith in His revealed truth.
